Almond Tahini Date Balls

Very Middle Eastern and very tasty! A sophisticated treat that is delish....And yes healthy too. You can change it up a bit by adding honey or cardamom, have fun with it!!

PREP TIME: 15 min..
INGREDIENTS
2 cups almonds (We used slivered / blanched)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 teaspoons tahini
18 medium dried dates / pitted and roughly chopped
DIRECTIONS
  1. Grind almonds and cinnamon in a food processor until finely chopped.
  2. Add tahini and continue to pulse.
  3. Add dates and chop until well blended.
  4. Form into 1" balls and refrigerate.
  5. Can be eaten chilled or at room temperature, and they also travel well so they make a good brown-bag dessert.
