INGREDIENTS
1 can dark sweet cherries
1 T conrstarch
1/4 c brandy
Vanilla ice cream
DIRECTIONS
  1. Drain cherries and set aside the juice. Mix the cornstarch with 1/2 c reserved juice, whisking to incorporate completely. Heat the remaining juice in a saute pan until it just comes to a boil. Slowly add the cornstarch mixture, continuing to whisk and cook until thickened, about 3 minutes. Add the reserved cherries, pour brandy over the top, carefully ignite and ladle while flaming over 1-2 scoops of ice cream.
