Brie and Apple Crostini

An easy as can be recipe with delicious results!
SERVINGS:16-24 pcs.
PREP TIME:  10 min.
COOK TIME: 5 min.
  • 1/2 stick of butter, melted
  • 1 loaf French bread, sliced into 1/2 inch slices
  • Olive Oil Spray
  • 2 - 3 green apples
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
  • Small round of Brie cheese
  • Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
  • Coat French bread slices with olive oil spray, place toast under the broiler until golden.
  • Remove rind from Brie, and slice into 1/4 inch thickness.
  • Pare and core apples, cut into 1/4" thick slices.
  • Mix walnuts, brown sugar and melted butter together.
  • Place a slice of brie and apple on the toast- top with spoonful of walnut mixture.
  • Place on baking sheet. Bake until cheese melts. Watch carefully so that cheese doesn't burn
