Wonton Cups with Smoked Salmon and Avocado

These are FABULOUS! The filling can also be used on endive tips.  Your guests will love them!
PREP TIME: 30 minutes
  24  wonton wrappers
  4 tablespoons  unsalted butter, melted
  3  teaspoons  white sesame seeds
  1/2  cup  finely sliced green onions, including tops
  1/4  cup  finely chopped fresh cilantro
  1  tablespoon  lime juice
  2  teaspoons  grated fresh ginger
  1/2  teaspoon  kosher salt
  5  ounces smoked salmon, flaked into small pieces
  1  avocado, finely diced
Preheat oven to 350°.
Brush both sides of the wonton wrappers with butter. Press into mini muffin cups.  Sprinkle wrappers with the sesame seeds. Bake 7 to 9 minutes (or until golden).  Remove from muffin cups and place on a cooling rack.
Combine green onions, cilantro, lime juice, ginger, salt and salmon; mix well.  Add avocado and toss gently until well combined (take care not to “mash” avocado).  Fill wonton cups and serve immediately.
