Christmas Tree Cutting Party

The first Christmas tree dates back to Germany almost 1,000 years ago.  It is said that St. Boniface came across a group of pagans worshiping an oak tree.  Out of frustration he had the tree cut down.  To his amazement a young fir tree sprouted from the root of the oak tree.  St. Boniface took this as a sign of Christian faith.  It was not until the 16th century, however, that evergreen trees were brought indoors and decorated.  The Christmas season is upon us and it's time to bring the tree in, so round up the SUV's and friends for an old fashioned tree cutting!!  Whether heading to the mountains or a local tree farm, fun will be had by all!!
